For the second year in a row, the Mississippi Miracles Radiothon, through pledges from individuals, families and businesses, has raised more than $500,000 for Children’s of Mississippi. Those who raised a $1,000 or more for Friends of Children's Hospital earned the opportunity to rappel down the 14-story Trustmark corporate office building in downtown Jackson.
The Ross Barnett Reservoir hosts the Outdoor Expo presented by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, April 29 and 30, at Old Trace Park in Ridgeland.
